White Willow Wedding Christina and Jackson
November 10th, 2011This last Labor Day I had the awesome chance to shoot Christina and Jackson’s wedding. Life has been super crazy busy lately so doing their wedding and editing the photos after have been a great way to get away from all the madness (I’ve been working on a rebrand so expect big changes at the beginning of next year!) So here it is check out my Labor Day 2011 Wedding of Christina and Jackson.
The entire day and the meetings I had with these two before the wedding really showed how in love these two are. The entire wedding day Jackson couldn’t take his eyes off of Christina and he had the BIGGEST smile. He actually seemed to get a lil miffed at me when I would steal Christina away from him for photos. Trust me you will see in these photos.
Christina sang a song to Jackson at their reception and was practicing it all morning while she was getting ready. It was sooo beautiful and made me tear up a bit.
I fell in love with Christina’s style she had a BEAUTIFUL dress from Allyse’s Bridal and she also had a white dress suit she used to go to the locations in that was SOOO chic and sophisticated.
I was sooo impressed that Christina did her own makeup. It was like watching an artist do a master piece painting. It looked beautiful!
Jackson and Christina chose to do a first look and I was so happy they did. These two were so fun to watch as they saw each other for the first time. It was like watching an old classic black and white film. If you are interested in learning about first looks check out one from a wedding I did earlier this year here.
Christina and Jackson got married at the LDS Timpanogos Temple and they were soo happy when they came out! While I was taking the shot on the left, Joey (my hubby and second shooter) got the photo on the left. I LOVE it when we are in perfect harmony on a wedding day.
Both of their families and friends were so fun to play with and take photos here are some favorites after they were married.
I could not have asked for better weather and light for this wedding. Afterwards we took the couple away and got some amazing couple shots. Here are my favorites. (Joey took some of these too and he did an amazing job! I’m so glad he’s learning and learning very quickly! )
Christina and Jackson had their reception at the amazing White Willow who also did their flowers and linens and practically everything. It was AMAZING and decadent.
We also captured some more getting ready shots here when Christina changed back into her wedding dress from her reception/lunch in dress.
The reception was to die for and everyone had an amazing time but i believe the best part was the dancing. You could see the love everyone had for each other and it was magical.
I want to thank Christina and Jackson for choosing me to shoot their wedding and share their wonderful loving moments on their special day. Thanks!
