joy of love: how they look

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

Today’s prompt for the joy of love is ‘how they look.’ When I saw this prompt I knew right away I wanted to get Joe laughing. One of the things that attracted me to Joe right away when we met was his sense of humor. He has a way of always making me calm and happy with his fun-loving nature. Plus I think he is so handsome with a laugh or a smile on his face.

Well key word was that I ‘tried’ to make him laugh. What ended up happening is he made me laugh more than I made him laugh. The result is a face of Joe trying to make someone else laugh, which he does everyday.

Joy of Love: what they do

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

This month I’ve decided to participate in Willette Designs’s “Joy of Love” program.  This is a ‘free’ class that each day sends you a prompt on how to capture the loved ones in your life.  I am using this class as an opportunity for a valentine’s gift for my hubby and business partner and best friend, Joe. So each day I will be capturing some side of his personality. At the end of the month I’m going to print out all the photos in an album. I’m so excited!

Today’s prompt was, “what they do.” I was supposed to capture Joe doing something they normally does. Since we are both finishing up school this year and running/starting a business we come home at night and hit the books, eat, and blog all at once. We hav become multitasking masters! Tonight Joe was checking his email and studying his Japanese hw. I love joe so much and he works so hard for me and him and for my passion of photography and traveling and I know it will all be worth it in the end. Just as long as we take the time to spend time together, which we do every day.
